Today is 14th of August. Two days left for Anna Hazare to start his protest fast. And TOI reports  on page 1  “Baba Ramdev seems headed for trouble, with a multi-agency probe revealing that firms owned by his trusts clandestinely invested abroad.

On page 10 it reports” The stage is set for action against yoga guru Ramdev with official sources alleging that a multi-agency probe has revealed that companies owned by his trusts have clandestinely sent large amounts of money abroad.

Now, if the reader stops on page 1 of the report he would conclude  that the probe has revealed the clandestine investment by Ramdev’s trust. But if he moves on to page 10 he will understand that  the official sources have alleged the clandestine investments.

We all know the difference between revelation of clandestine investment and allegation of clandestine investment. Is it a deliberate miss  to  mislead the readers by TOI ,in these trying times for those who are fighting the corrupt forces ?
